Clients Services Team

The Client Services Staff are the "engine room" of The IDRC and are mainly responsible for its operational success. The team consists of 4 to 6 members who assist clients with many aspects of their visit, ranging from room setup to equipment assistance and looking after clients' catering requirements. They are also on hand to assist with general enquiries and provide out of hours assistance.

Reception Services

We have 2 receptions both able to help provide administrative and clerical support. As well as assisting with printing, copying, scanning and faxing documents, our staff can also help with tasks such as booking couriers, recommending local hotels/amenities and more

Rooms

IDRC - Facilities - Rooms

The Centre comprises of over 50 rooms, of which 14 are "main" rooms and over 35 are retirement rooms (or break-out or "war rooms"). The rooms are suitable for arbitrations, mediations, depositions, High Court cases or meetings of various sizes. Please browse our site in the room section to see the various layouts or look at the floor plans to get an overall view of each floor. Re-configuration of rooms can be arranged if needed. All rooms are equipped with telephones and are fitted with security locks.

Video Conferencing

IDRC - Facilities - Video Conferencing

High-speed video conferencing facilities can be provided in any room and the Centre can make arrangements to set up remote sites throughout the world. We can accommodate both ISDN (512kb/s) and IP (1mb) videoconferencing. To book a videoconference or to discuss your conferencing needs, please contact Mike Jenkins.

Court Reporting & Translation Services

IDRC - Facilities - Court Reporting

The IDRC can advise clients on Court Reporting services ranging from same day transcripts to real-time reporting services, where you receive a live feed on your laptop (Transcend or LiveNote). We can also assist you with your depositions requirements.  Two of the industry leaders who supply our centre with these services are DTI Global and Opus2 International

Telephones or Conference Calls

IDRC - Facilities - Telephones/Conference Calls

All rooms at The IDRC have telephones with voicemail for clients' use. These phones can also be used for conference calls of up to 2 destinations. Polycom speaker phones with two additional microphones can also be set up in hearing rooms.

Multifunctional Devices

IDRC - Facilities - Multifunctional Devices

Each floor at The IDRC has two multifunctional devices for client use. Clients can use these for their printing and photocopying needs and scanning. Once connected to the IDRC Client Internet they can also print directly to these devices. Each client has a unique user ID for these devices. Our staff will gladly install the relevant drivers when at the centre.The Centre also provides two colour multifunctional devices on our first floor, where we're also happy to assist clients with any document management needs.

Internet Access

Both wireless and cabled internet connections are available in all main and retirement rooms. With a secure wireless network and a 100 Mb fibre optic backbone connection, your connectivity is guaranteed. Wireless repeaters are fitted throughout the centre ensuring a good signal is available.

Couriers

We are happy to receive documents and boxes prior to the start of your hearing to be stored safely until required. National and international couriers can be booked to return files on your behalf following the completion of your case.

Accommodation

IDRC have acquired preferential rates for several four and five star hotels local to the Centre for your convenience. We also have special rates for short stay apartments within walking distance.
