Rooms
The Centre provides 34 rooms, of which 16 are suitable for arbitrations or meetings of various sizes, and 18 are designed primarily as retiring (or break-out or "war") rooms. Click on Rooms for further details including plans. Re-configuration of rooms can be arranged if needed. All rooms are fitted with security locks. Video conferencingHigh-speed video conferencing facilities can be provided in any room and the Centre can make arrangements to set up remote sites throughout the world. You may book your video conferencing facilities online: Booking Form. Accommodation servicesThe Centre's staff can assist in relation to the booking of hotel rooms and short-term lets of apartments. Direct dial telephonesDirect dial telephones are available in every room, providing internal and external communications with voicemail facilities (which can be remotely accessed). Conference callsArrangements are in place to allow conference telephone calls in any of the rooms. Internet accessBoth wireless and cabled internet connections are available in all main and retirement rooms. With a secure wireless network and 100Mb fibre optic connection, your connectivity is guaranteed. The wireless network is security enabled and the connection runs off a 100Mbps fibre optic line delivering a quality connection. Facilities for accessing the Internet through the telephone system are available in every room with analogue ISDN and wireless connections. Fax machinesFax machines for general use are readily available; and private facilities can be arranged on request. Digital photocopying / ScanningThe Centre has fully featured digital colour photocopiers/scanners. Again private facilities can be arranged. Court Reporting Services (Merrill Legal Solutions)The Centre can organise stenographers to provide transcription services on either a same day turnaround or in real-time, using either LiveNote or Transcend. In addition, rooms can be made available for the use of shorthand writers. Translation servicesThe Centre can make arrangements for simultaneous and consecutive translations and interpreters when needed. Full catering facilitiesRefreshments of all kinds are available to suit individual requirements. Fresh coffee and tea, and biscuits and water are provided throughout the day. Meals - from sandwiches to three courses (hot or cold) - are arranged on request. A full range of beverages, including wine and beer, can be provided. Communal dining areaSituated on the first floor, there is a large communal dining area for those who require it, whilst meals can just as easily be served in individual rooms. Reading roomThe reading room will provide a small, relevant library and a quiet space in which to consult books or papers, as well as a computer and modem. Courier and taxi servicesThe Centre's staff will happily arrange for couriers and taxis whenever required. |
